This Statement of Work (this “SOW”) is entered into and governed by the Master Subscription Agreement, Subscription Terms, or other similar written agreement (the “Agreement”), along with the General Service Terms located at https://www.harness.io/legal/general-service-terms (the “General Terms”) by and between Customer (“Customer”), and Harness Inc. (“Harness”) (Customer and Harness each a “Party”, and collectively, the “Parties”).  This SOW and the General Terms constitute the complete agreement regarding services provided under this SOW.  Except where the contrary is expressly provided, the terms and conditions of the General Terms shall prevail over any conflicting terms or conditions in this SOW.  

Changes to this SOW will be processed in accordance with the procedure described below. The investigation and the implementation of changes may result in modifications to the schedule, resources, charges and/or other terms of this SOW.

Harness may utilize an employee, subcontractor, or partner to provide the Services under this SOW.  Harness shall remain liable or all acts and omissions of its personnel in their provision of the Services set forth in this SOW.  

Any defined terms not specifically defined herein shall have the meaning given to them in the General Terms.

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW

The purpose of this DevOps Essentials Guided Onboarding SOW is to provide Services designed to assist Customer by guiding the applicable Harness software module implementation, based on best practices as defined in the “DevOps Essentials Onboarding Guide” documentation. Customer must be committed to deploying the use case during an agreed upon number of Sprints.  The standard timeline for the entire SOW is set forth below, in the Program Days within Section 2 (the “Project Duration”), and will consist of a series of Sprints, to be finalized with project management.

 - Continuous Integration
 - Continuous Delivery
 - Security Test Orchestration
 - Infrastructure-as-Code Management
Onboarding sessions will be arranged and scheduled with a designated Harness project lead.
DevOps Essentials Onboarding Services Level 2 10 Guided Onboarding Sessions, 2 hours each
(20 hours in total)

Guided Onboarding Project Scope

  • Review the estimated hours of the relevant DevOps Essentials Guided Onboarding service level (see Timeline table above) to help the Customer team onboard the modules that make up the Harness DevOps Essentials package
    • Schedule and hold office-hours type question-and-answer sessions
    • Investigate and contribute to the resolution of unforeseen onboarding issues

Project Execution Guidelines & Expectations

  • Guided Sessions will be:
    • Scheduled as agreed upon by the Customer and Harness PS project lead, in 2 hour blocks
    • Delivered as scheduled independent of whether requests for support are serviced
    • Self-contained in that no preparation will be performed by Harness prior to office hours and no customer tasks will be taken from the guided sessions
  • Guided Sessions are limited to the Services delivered under this engagement.
  • Guided Sessions will expire 6 months after the start of the engagement.
  • Guided Sessions are focused on guidance and onboarding questions related to the topics discussed during this engagement.
  • Guided Sessions are not provided as a generic support mechanism, or replace the role of Harness Product Customer Experience & Technical Incident Support.
  • Customer agrees that at least 6 hours of Guided Sessions will be consumed per week
