Prerana Singhal is a Senior Engineering Leader at Harness, where she spearheads the core application protection team, driving initiatives across data protection, threat detection, and security policy enforcement. She plays a key role in strengthening application and API security across modern, distributed systems.
With deep hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle from architecture and design to coding, debugging, testing, and scaling in production, she brings a strong practitioner’s perspective to building secure, resilient software. Prior to Harness, she was a Founding Engineer at Traceable, where she helped shape early product and security foundations.
She is particularly passionate about API security and has a keen interest in NLP and emerging technologies, constantly exploring new ways to strengthen modern application defenses.
