Roger Simms is a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Harness, where he leads teams building infrastructure-as-code management and developer platform solutions. With over a decade of experience in distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, he has held senior engineering roles at organizations including Flexera, Nebulon, and BDNA Corporation. At Harness, he previously served as a Principal Software Engineer, helping develop tools that support modern DevOps and infrastructure automation. Simms also contributes to the open-source community as a member of the OpenTofu Technical Steering Committee, helping guide the direction of the open infrastructure-as-code ecosystem.
