Stefano Mazzone is a DevSecOps architect with over 20 years of experience across software engineering, platform engineering, and observability. As Tech Lead for Solution Architecture and Implementation Engineering at Harness, he works with enterprise organizations across EMEA to design and implement modern, scalable, and secure software delivery platforms.
Throughout his career, Stefano has operated at the intersection of development and operations, helping teams move from simply shipping software to delivering measurable outcomes. His background includes expertise in CI/CD, platform engineering, and observability, shaped by hands-on work with complex, highly regulated environments such as financial services, but also telco, and retail.
Before joining Harness, he held roles at Datadog and AppDynamics (acquired by Cisco), where he helped organizations build highly observable systems and adopt data-driven approaches to reliability and performance.
At Harness, Stefano partners closely with engineering leaders and platform teams to introduce governance without friction, enable developer self-service, and build platforms that scale both technically and organizationally.
He is a strong advocate for platform engineering and modern DevSecOps practices, with a particular focus on closing the gap between successful deployments and successful outcomes - where observability, continuous verification, and intelligent automation play a critical role.
