Society Restaurant 80 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000

Harness is bringing together a small group of CIOs and senior technology leaders from Australia's leading industries for a private dinner built around one conversation: how do you get ROI from AI by delivering software at AI speed without trading off risk and stability?

AI adoption inside the SDLC went from experiment to board-level expectation faster than most governance frameworks could follow. For Australian enterprises, the gap that has opened up is resulting in the bottleneck shifting to the outer loop of software development and PRs stacking up with little to no demonstrable improvement to the business.

Nick Durkin, Field CTO at Harness, will lead the discussion. He'll draw on work with institutions including Workday, Citi, NAB and others navigating the shift toward governed, AI-native software delivery.

Topics we'll dig into:

  • Why AI-generated code creates a velocity paradox and where the real bottleneck now sits
  • What the ROI of AI-generated code is right now, how to track it and improve the metrics – from adoption to value
  • Mythos and AI security threats; how to move faster to remediate the tsunami of new zero-days in a repeatable and systematic way
  • Where agentic AI fits into a governed SDLC and how to avoid runaway cost and complexity - i.e. what is it great for and where the true value is today

The evening will include:

  • Arrival and welcome drinks
  • A short, focused roundtable conversation led by Nick Durkin on AI-native delivery
  • Open peer discussion throughout the evening (Chatham House Rule)
  • Dinner and networking to continue the conversation

Capacity is limited, RSVP now to secure your spot!
