We’re excited to welcome Split to the Harness team. Together, our joint solution will be the most powerful Feature Management and Experimentation offering in the industry. Our joint solution will offer a robust solution that enables customers to build, deploy, and release software while running A/B tests to experiment and measure feature adoption.

New Navigation: All of your pipelines in one place

Streamline your Harness experience with our intuitive new navigation. Users of multiple Harness modules can find all of a project’s pipelines and executions in one place rather than digging into each module. Users of just one module can keep that focus if they choose.

Accelerate the chaos experimentation by 5x or more
Harness Delegate can discover the resources on Kubernetes clusters and new chaos experiments are auto created. This brings in the best of the breed experience for users in onboarding their chaos journey.

Experience improved control and visibility with the latest Commitment Orchestrator updates, including a new Audit Trail, enhanced RBAC, Child Account Exclusion support, and a Live actions details view providing potential savings, spend, and source Reserved Instance (RI) details.

Recommendations & Anomalies:

Our Recommendations & Anomalies features have been enhanced to provide a more efficient experience. Streamline your anomaly management with support for comments in your Anomaly Workflows Ignore list. Recommendations (K8s and cloud) will now be presented within the context of a perspective, giving you quick access to relevant recommendations based on the scope of your costs. We've also expanded the look-back periods for node pool recommendations, now providing insights for the last 60 and 90 days [previously max 30 days].

Code Repository

Code suggestions and secrets scanning 

Harness Code Repository now supports Code Suggestions so that developers can easily collaborate in pull requests. It also includes scanning for secrets and OSS vulnerabilities pre-commit. Harness Code Repository also integrates seamlessly with SEI, CI, and other Harness modules.

Continuous Integration

Intelligence features are now available for self-hosted build infrastructure

CI users can now accelerate their builds by configuring S3-compatible caching in self-hosted build infrastructures. Users can configure the endpoint URL, region, bucket name, access key, and secret key. Contact Harness Support to enable them.

Drift Detection alerts on differences between stored and actual states

Harness IaCM now provides automated drift detection and reconciliation, preventing discrepancies between your infrastructure's desired and actual states. This ensures that your infrastructure configurations stored in git are the single source of truth for infrastructure changes.

New Catalog Ingestion APIs Enhance Harness IDP Customization and Automation

Empower teams to extend and customize their Harness IDP efficiently, reducing the need for extensive coding and manual updates. These APIs allow dynamic metadata updates in the Software Catalog, enabling features like test coverage display and ServiceNow CMDB integration without manual YAML edits.

Security Testing Orchestration

Harness partners with Wiz and Semgrep, delivering new scanner integrations for STO

Harness just became Wiz’s first certified CI/CD partner! Through Harnes STO, the Wiz scanner can be added as a step– natively– in your pipeline for IaC, SAST, Secret Detection, Container, and SCA scans. We’ve also partnered with Semgrep to enable native orchestration of the Semgrep Open Source and Semgrep Code SAST scanners.
